F1000一新？

今朝、F1000（Faculty of 1000）からのメールで気付いたのだけども、なんかF1000のウェブサイトが一新されましたな。ちなみにF1000というのは下記のようなスバラシイコンセプトを持ったウェブサイトです（全て読むには所属の機関が購読料を払っている必要がありますが）。
「F1000 is a revolutionary post-publication peer review service that comprehensively and systematically highlights and evaluates the most interesting articles published in the biomedical sciences, based on the recommendations of a Faculty of over 10,000 of the world's leading scientists and clinicians.」

しかも今まで気付かなかったけど、いつの間にかF1000 Reportsとかいうオープンアクセスのオンラインジャーナルまでできている。
「F1000 Biology Reports publishes succinct peer-reviewed commentaries in which the most important biology articles identified by F1000 are put into a broader context with a focus on recent advances and future research directions. 」
ということらしい。いくつかちらっと見てみたけど確かに'succinct'でなかなかイイ感じ。今後F1000を訪れる機会がもっと増えそうです。
